During interrogation, the suspects confessed to carrying out multiple thefts across various neighborhoods in the city, particularly during peak commuting hours.
Authorities recovered 15 stolen mobile phones and two tricycles with registration numbers KBT-850WZ and DAL-113WZ, reportedly used to facilitate the crimes. These items have been documented and are being held at the Kano State Police Command as part of ongoing investigations.
Commissioner of Police Salman Dogo Garba commended the dedication and professionalism of his officers, emphasizing that the arrests were achieved through effective policing and cooperation from the public. He urged residents to remain vigilant, report suspicious activities, and assist law enforcement in the fight against crime.

CP Garba assured the public that the Kano State Police Command is committed to ensuring safety and would continue to implement proactive measures to curb mobile phone theft, armed robbery, and other criminal acts across the state.
