Public Outcry as Blord Faces Backlash Over publicly posting VDM N@d€s

The feud between Nigerian entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejika, better known as Blord, and social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) has intensified following allegations that Blord attempted to discredit his outspoken critic through unethical online tactics.

Though the latest claims remain unverified, they have provoked widespread outrage on Nigerian social media, with many users condemning what they describe as cyber harassment and an abuse of digital influence.

The controversy marks the latest chapter in an increasingly heated conflict between the two public figures. It began when VDM accused Blord of misleading customers by selling refurbished iPhones as new models—an accusation Blord denied, defending his business as transparent and internationally compliant.

As the feud escalated, supporters of both personalities traded words online, transforming what started as a consumer-protection issue into a heated public spectacle.

Legal experts have since cautioned that any attempts to obtain or share private information without consent could breach Nigeria’s Cybercrime (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015, which criminalizes privacy violations and online harassment.

Digital-rights advocates are now urging Nigerian influencers to exercise greater responsibility and restraint, warning that online feuds can easily cross ethical lines and damage public trust.

As of the time of publication, neither Blord nor VeryDarkMan has issued an official statement addressing the allegations.
